i recently went to new jersey to visit my family, and it was a weekend full of cousins, cousins, and more cousins! my cousins are having babies so the family is growing rapidly. even my cousins from here in RI went down there with us too, and a great time was had by all. drink, be merry, spend time with family. thats what its all about!

the week of new years i went to new york city for the first since i've gotten my new camera. of course, i've been there many times before. all of these pictures were taken on manual light settings. it was the first time i took shots on manual, and i'm excited with how they came out. it was fun to take city shots! its so easy to get creative. i can't wait to go back there and get more pictures when the weather gets warmer!
